Kunimitsu to be added to Tekken 8: Early Access in May
Tekken 8 will get a new fighter. Kunimitsu, introduced in February as part of the Season 3 Character Pass, will be available to all players on June 1. Pass holders will be able to start playing as her earlier - from May 27.
As a kunoichi (female ninja), Kunimitsu relies on speed, ninjutsu, and blade mastery. Her techniques include counterattacks transitioning into stabs, teleportation to evade low attacks, aerial intercepts, swift dashes, and launching opponents followed by powerful finishers.
Interestingly, Kunimitsu is already familiar with Reina. She is also connected to Raven, who trained under her father. This refers to the daughter of the original Kunimitsu from the first installment of the series – this is her second appearance.
The Season 3 Character Pass will also include other fighters: Bob will appear in the summer, Roger Jr. in the autumn, and another character and a new arena are planned for winter.
