Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era continues to be fixed - developers have corrected critical bugs, balance, and improved lobby connection
Developers are actively fixing bugs reported by players.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era recently launched in early access on PC via Steam. The developers continue to release updates and have now introduced "Patch #3". It aims to fix a number of critical bugs that could hinder campaign progression, as well as improve lobby connection:
We continue to actively work on network stability and balance — many more improvements are ahead. Thank you for your feedback and bug reports: it is thanks to you that we can make the game better with each update.
Some improvements and changes:
- Fixed an error that occurred when loading several saves in a row and trying to exit to the Esc menu.
- Fixed a bug blocking the completion of the mission "The Deeper into the Forest".
- Fixed a rare AI bug during a siege.
- Fixed a bug that caused the AI to freeze in some battles.
- The recruitment window now automatically closes after all creatures have been purchased.
- Fixed a building issue on screens with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the "Children of the Forests" law of the Grove faction from working.
- Fixed a bug where the Bloodthirsty Ravager gained a huge amount of attack and defense when combining the "Beelzebub's Blessing" ability with the "Battle Rage" and "By Fate's Will" sub-skills. Now the bonus of this ability is not taken into account by the aforementioned skills.
- Fixed errors in the description of mass attacks that only affect enemies (previously it was stated that they affect all creatures).
- Fixed a bug where the Infernal Hydra did not apply "Weakening Poison" to enemies when using an alternative attack.

- Fixed some issues with entering the lobby and starting the game.
- Fixed connection recovery during the game.
- Implemented various general network improvements.
- Fixed errors in the description of the Lich Dragon's abilities.
- Fixed a bug causing display issues with the "Aroma of Hops" ability of Hoplings and Sunset Hoplings.
The developers also talked about changes to timers in multiplayer mode. The time for selecting a hero, skills, artifacts, etc., in arena mode has been increased from 5 to 6 minutes.
In single-hero mode, the time for battle with an opposing player has been reduced by 5 seconds. At the same time, the daily time bonus has been increased by 15 seconds, and the weekly bonus by 30 seconds.
