In the original Resident Evil 4 and its remake, the main character Leon Kennedy could buy weapons from a mysterious merchant who appeared in the most unexpected places. Some players missed him, and a modder known as fanteeek decided to transfer this character to Resident Evil Requiem.
He replaces the boxes through which Leon Kennedy buys equipment with the merchant (the model was taken from the Resident Evil 4 remake). In terms of gameplay, this changes nothing — now the hero will be greeted not by a vending machine, but by an NPC. The assortment remains the same.
fanteeek clarified that the merchant will not be "static" — idle animations work, and he can also greet the main character. The modder warned that he had not tested the mod in all locations and did not rule out that there might be bugs. He is currently collecting feedback on his project.
The "Merchant - Supply Boxes" modification for Resident Evil Requiem is distributed free of charge via Nexus Mods. For it to work, REFramework (by praydog, necessary for game modding) and Fluffy Mod Manager (by FluffyQuack, used for interacting with custom mods) are additionally required.
