It was already known that an expansion was being prepared for Resident Evil Requiem, but it seems that Capcom's plans are much broader. Recently, messages from a Chinese insider, who previously shared confirmed details about the game, went viral in the fan community.

Allegedly, there will be several expansions. One focuses on the story of Chris Redfield and Ada Wong, while another will feature Leon Kennedy and Alyssa Ashcroft (Grace's mother).

Another well-known insider, Dusk Golem (AestheticGamer), reacted to the discussions of these “insider tips” online and shared his information. He called such messages “******” (nonsense) and added:

I've already said that I believe Ada Wong will be in the RE9 DLC. But this particular rumor – that a DLC called “Extraction” with Leon and Ada will be released in May – is *****. Something else will be released.

Previously, the creators of Resident Evil Requiem explained the absence of Ada Wong by stating that there simply wasn't room for her, as well as many other characters, in the plot. In their opinion, the story of Leon Kennedy and Grace turned out to be self-sufficient.

Meanwhile, fans are releasing various modifications themselves, including an outfit for Ada Wong (from the Resident Evil 4 remake).
