Fans have been asking for a Bloodborne remake for years, but it seems FromSoftware plans to present something else. YouTube blogger and insider Shirrako recently shared what he heard.
If the information Shirrako received is correct, a remake of the Dark Souls trilogy is currently in development. He received this message from a "reliable source" who had previously shared other information with him.
It is currently unknown who might be working on the alleged remakes of Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 3. Notably, several years ago, another well-known insider in the gaming community, Shpeshal_Nick, spoke about work on a remaster of the third installment of the franchise. It seems that the studio changed its plans and decided to fully update the trilogy, rather than just improve one part.
FromSoftware is currently working on a new exclusive game for Nintendo Switch 2 called The Duskbloods. This is a multiplayer PvPvE project, which some gamers find reminiscent of Bloodborne in style.
