Diablo IV fans continue to explore Season 13 content and experiment with builds. Some users are pushing damage numbers to broken levels. For example, the community-renowned player Rob2628 once again made headlines, revealing a "top-tier" DPS build for the Barbarian.
The "Aspect of Limitless Rage" combined with a couple of items allowed players to deal impressive damage. However, the developers did not intend for such an interaction between these items and the aspect.
The "Aspect of Limitless Rage" increases damage:
You deal [1.00 - 1.50]%[x] increased damage for every point of Fury you restore. This bonus expires after 4 seconds.
"Endurant Fate" has the effect:
When you take 30% of your Maximum Life as damage in a single hit, that damage is instead taken as damage over 4 seconds and reduced by [30 - 40]%.
The owner of the "Melted Heart of Selig" amulet, upon taking damage, first loses their primary resource instead of health. The resource pool itself is doubled, and as long as it is not depleted, the hero takes less damage. At the same time, maximum health is reduced by 75%.
Blizzard Entertainment reacted by announcing the temporary disabling of the problematic aspect:
We have temporarily disabled the Barbarian's Limitless Rage due to some unintended interactions where it was scaling damage almost infinitely when combined with Melted Heart of Selig and Endurant Fate. We are working on a fix for this issue and will aim to re-enable this affix as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
