Recently, a modder under the nickname FlamingosPeak Workshop (FPeakWorkshop) presented a large-scale mod conversion for Resident Evil Requiem. He decided to rework Capcom's new title to resemble a project from the Valve franchise.

The enthusiast adds many elements from the Half-Life world to the game. Instead of Leon Kennedy, Gordon Freeman is now the protagonist, using an authentic crowbar, and Alyx Vance has replaced Grace Ashcroft.

The changes affected not only the main characters. The modder specified that enemies, weapons, and other game assets will also be replaced in Resident Evil Requiem:

This mod turns RE9 almost into a new Half-Life. It replaces characters, enemies, weapons, objects, and more as updates are released. The mod was originally created for another version of RE9, so bugs are possible, especially in the starting area.

The modification "Resident Evil - Requiem for Ravenholm (Early Access)" continues to evolve and is currently in "early access." FlamingosPeak Workshop releases updates on Nexus Mods. The modder is currently collecting bug reports to fix the project.
