The creators of The Blood of Dawnwalker want to follow CD Projekt's path - the studio will not be limited to one brand
The developers of The Blood of Dawnwalker are not going to limit themselves to one game. Project leader Konrad Tomaszkiewicz stated that the Rebel Wolves studio wants to create a second major franchise - following the example of CD Projekt and their approach after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077.
According to the developers, the current project is just the beginning of the journey. The studio's goal is to build a sustainable position in the market and develop its own brands, rather than staying within the confines of one world.
Tomaszkiewicz emphasizes that everything depends on the success of the first game. If The Blood of Dawnwalker proves successful, the studio will be able to embark on a new major development and create a second franchise from scratch.
The game itself is a dark action-RPG from former CD Projekt RED developers. The project focuses on player choices and a non-linear story and is intended to be a test of whether a small team can reach AAA level.
