It seems that the developers of Arc Raiders are planning to add new gameplay mechanics for player interaction. A dataminer has examined the game files and recently shared their findings with the community.
According to the code they published, Arc Raiders will feature a full-fledged trading system with other raiders – this option will be available in a place called Speranza Piazza.
The new map, according to the dataminer, will be called Frozen Trail – it is mentioned in the code and, if the information is correct, it will feature points of interest such as "Factory," "Radio Tower," "Supermarket," "Railway Yard," "Tower," "Central Station," "Observatory."
Mentions of Stanza and Malleus were also found – these are presumed to be new weapon models.
Additionally, there's a mention of an operation called Dead Reckoning, which supposedly will feature a large flying ARC. The dataminer describes it as "a Frigate based on the UFO that players saw during the Hurricane." A clan system with different roles (leader, captain, etc.) is also mentioned.
Previously, Arc Raiders received a major update, Riven Tides, which added a giant robot "Turbine," a new map "Turbulent Streams," items, and other content to the game.
