The head of Rebel Wolves admitted that the studio did indeed use generative AI, but only in the early stages of development. Neural networks were used to create draft dialogues and "sketches" of cutscenes.
According to Tomaszkiewicz, this was necessary to test the plot before full-fledged recording with live actors began. He noted that modern RPGs are created for many languages at once, and script changes in the middle of production often lead to rework and delays.
The developer added that AI can automate routine tasks such as finding problems in level geometry, thereby reducing the workload on employees.
At the same time, Tomaszkiewicz made a separate statement for players. He emphasized that the final version of The Blood of Dawnwalker will not contain "a single AI-generated asset."
The entire final version of the game, from start to finish, was created exclusively by "flesh and blood humans."
The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled for release on September 3, 2026.
