American Truck Simulator received new towing, sound and gamepad control improvements - update 1.59 released
Now the truck can be returned to the road and continue the journey.
The developers of the American Truck Simulator truck driver simulator have completed beta testing of update 1.59 and it is now available to all players.
For this version of the game, traffic sounds have been reworked and car horns will become more diverse:
The sound has become softer and more balanced to better match real-life perception: now less emphasis on engine noise in the distance and more on the subtle “road rustle” from tires. The behavior of signals [horns] has also been slightly randomized to reduce repetition.
Some other changes:
A new type of towing has appeared – now the car can be returned to the road (this option is only available at a certain distance from the road):
The skill interface has been reworked and the American Truck Simulator developers noted that they have better adapted the interface for players with gamepads. A new function has appeared that will allow you to cancel the last marker on the map.
