In early May, the author of the YouTube channel AnotherPlus (known on the modding scene as InfernoPlus) presented a new development diary for an ambitious modification that aims to port the world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind into Elden Ring – a game by FromSoftware studio.
He published the previous diary last year, and since then, significant progress has been made. In this issue, he offers players a look at the gameplay mechanics and some locations, such as the starting area of Seyda Neen. You can enter buildings, talk to characters, make purchases, and even participate in battles.
Outwardly, it might seem that many things in this project are already complete, but in reality, this is not the case. InfernoPlus clarified that a lot more work needs to be done before a public version of the mod can be released.
InfernoPlus's video is available at the following link. He showed not only gameplay footage but also some work-in-progress moments – you can see snippets of the project's code. The project currently has no release window.
The original The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind still holds interest: it was recently run on a "Pip-Boy" inside Fallout 4.
