Every month, Sony not only distributes games to PlayStation Plus subscribers but also updates its game catalog. Service subscribers recalled that the company had previously revealed one of the games for May's PS Plus Premium lineup.

On May 19, Time Crisis, a classic "rail shooter," will be added to the subscription. The game was released on the first PlayStation in 1997 (before that, it was available on arcade machines).

Some are happy about the return of the old game, while users like welfedad believe that the experience will no longer be the same:

I think you need to play them on original systems for the full effect, but even then, as much as I loved these games as a kid, they don't captivate me the way they did when I was 13.

Sony is expected to reveal other games from May's PS Plus Premium additions on May 13. Usually, shortly before this date, insiders about the subscription games begin to appear in new blog posts.

The Time Crisis trailer is available at the following link.

Earlier in May, games for PlayStation Plus subscribers began to be distributed. This month, Sony offered players to add EA Sports FC 26 football simulator, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers soulslike action, and Nine Sols 2D action-platformer to their collection.
