A werewolf innkeeper simulator was released on Steam - a week later, the developer announced the studio's closure
The creators of Wolf with Inn failed to attract players' attention to their project.
At the end of April, Wolf with Inn was released on PC on Steam. This project from Thundertale Studio offers players to take control of an inn.
The peculiarity is that the main character is a werewolf and, according to the plot, is a target for knights and hunters:
In Wolf With Inn, your friends will not be fair-haired paladins with huge swords, but monsters, mermaids, mushroom people, and other targets for glory hunters — you are a werewolf after all. And all this in a cozy tavern simulator in a world of a scary fairy tale!
The hero will have to explore Mistmoor, complete story quests, collect ingredients for dishes, and manage the tavern.
After the release, several updates were released for Wolf With Inn, but recently developer Assdefus announced the closure of the studio on social media.
One user asked: "You just released the game recently. Is it really that bad with sales?" — to which Assdefus replied, "Yes, it didn't take off." In another message, he noted that "developers will no longer receive anything from sales."
According to SteamDB, the peak online for Wolf With Inn at launch was 19 players, and then it began to decline. As of May 7, a daily peak of 3 users was registered.
