In early May, Escape from Tarkov developers announced balance adjustments to the game — they affected several helmets, as well as headphones:
- Fixed the availability of using Flux, Caiman, Neosteel helmets with ballistic glasses;
- Comtac VI, V, IV, II, GSH, Walker's Razor Digital, and Walker's Razor Slim headphones can now be worn with additional AirFrame Ears and AirFrame Chops armor.
In addition, the developers showed a gameplay teaser of a new feature for Escape from Tarkov — assistance in finding items for quests. When approaching the desired point, a "petal sight" will appear on the screen; these petals will turn white and act as a visual hint during the search.

Balance adjustments were also introduced in the online shooter Escape from Tarkov: Arena:
- The cost of all LLMs and tactical blocks has increased by 100-230 Metaweight.
- The suppressor will be able to use LLMs on all available weapons.
- All available first aid kits, bandages, tourniquets, and splints have become cheaper by 5-50 Metaweight.
- AKMN, AKMSN, AK-103, and AK-104 assault rifles now have access to MAI AP ammunition.
- Added 25-round MCX Spear magazines. They are available at level 4 MCX Spear progression for 30 GP only for the Assault class.
