Modder PureDark continues to integrate modern technologies into various games. Recently, he returned to CD Projekt RED's hit – adding NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 support to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Thanks to the tech enthusiast, players will also be able to experience "smart" frame generation (Dynamic Multi Frame Generation; the system will automatically switch between frame multipliers to ensure the target FPS) in action.
YouTube channel Gaming DJ conducted testing and shared the results with the community. His Inno3D RTX 5070 Ti X3 graphics card worked with an AMD Ryzen 5700X3D processor.
When playing at 1080p resolution with DLAA and "ultra" settings with ray tracing, it was possible to achieve 70-80+ FPS, depending on the scene's load.
During a battle, when playing at 1080p with DLAA, maximum RT Ultra Preset settings, and NVIDIA DLSS with 3x frame generation enabled, it was possible to achieve over 200 FPS.

As usual, modder PureDark has hidden this modification behind a paywall — the mod with NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and his other projects are available to subscribers on Patreon.
