On LEGO Ideas — a crowdsourcing platform from the LEGO Group, where fans propose their constructor projects — user Fabrick_89 presented a rather unusual set dedicated to “Tetris”. If his model gathers 10,000 community votes, LEGO will officially examine such a creation and, possibly, even release it.

The model recreates a classic arcade cabinet in a bold and vibrant design inspired by “Tetris” blocks. From the bright marquee to the detailed control panel, every element is crafted to convey the nostalgic feel of a real arcade machine.

Naturally, this is not just a static model. The machine is equipped with a manual control system that physically recreates the “Tetris” gameplay. Tetromino figures are built into the structure and move along vertical guides.

The pieces naturally slide down the playfield. The user can move them sideways and rotate them with their fingers. Each piece can be placed exactly where desired. The set has no complex mechanisms or electronics — the gameplay is entirely based on thoughtful passive design, making it intuitive, reliable, and enjoyable to use.

The cabinet opens to reveal a detailed two-story retro gaming room. Upper floor: “Tetris” gaming station, a neon-style logo wall, and a classic arcade atmosphere. Lower floor: “Pixel Arcade” stand, a lounge area with snacks, and story details that bring the scene to life.
