Football Manager 26 Under Fire - Studio Promises Fixes
Football Manager 26 has received a wave of criticism after its release. Sports Interactive published a statement from studio head Miles Jacobson, where he admitted that the game did not meet the expectations of some players and promised further fixes and changes to the series.
The main complaints about Football Manager 26 are related to the new interface and navigation after the transition to Unity. According to Jacobson, some players lost their sense of immersion.
We know that the game we released did not meet the expectations of many players… I take full responsibility for this.
The studio clarified that it is already releasing updates and bringing back some features from Football Manager 24. A national team management mode has also been confirmed, which will be released on May 26 as DLC, but without full functionality at launch. The developers explained the delay by awaiting licenses from national federations participating in the World Cup.
