Cosplayer Showcases Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII: "I was chosen to rule the Planet"
Cosplayer Sergey "Kelnor" Khalzov ventured into the Final Fantasy VII universe to transform into the mighty Sephiroth, who desires to become a god and torment Cloud Strife.
For some gamers, Final Fantasy VII still remains the "king of JRPGs" and a "cult classic" that popularized the Japanese role-playing game genre worldwide.
Especially for fans of this project, photographer Elena Vesania has prepared a new batch of photos. During her photoshoot, cosplayer Sergey "Kelnor" Khalzov appeared as Sephiroth.
Sephiroth is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII, striving to become a god. Before he went mad, this character was the best fighter of the "SOLDIER" special unit of the Shinra Electric Power Company.
He wears a long black coat with silver shoulder pads, as well as black boots and trousers. The upper part of the coat is unbuttoned, revealing his chest with intersecting suspenders. Sephiroth has long silver hair and green eyes with vertical pupils.
This villain is armed with the Masamune katana. After immersing himself in the Lifestream, Sephiroth gained supernatural abilities: reading minds, creating illusions, levitating objects and people, hovering in the air, and erecting impenetrable energy barriers.
