After Criticism, Saber Released a "Game-Changing" Update for Docked
Saber Interactive has released a major update 1.3.0 for Docked to fix issues that led to poor reviews at launch. The main change is the Free Play mode, which players have long requested.
The new mode allows players to freely develop their port and play without the restrictions of the story campaign. Free Play is available immediately after launching the game and does not require unlocking through progression.
One of the main complaints about Docked was that after completing the approximately 25-hour campaign, players were effectively prevented from continuing the game – instead, a message appeared suggesting they wait for DLC. Now, the developers have removed this restriction and allowed players to freely continue developing their port after the finale.
After the patch was released, Docked's ratings on Steam began to rise. In the recent reviews category, the game has already received "very positive" reviews – 83% recommendations.
