SEGA has teamed up with workspace accessories brand Branch to release a new line of chairs with a retro gaming twist. The Sonic the Hedgehog chair will delight fans of the speedy hedgehog with familiar shades.
The Sonic logo is placed on one of the wheels, while the others are bright red. The Sega Genesis console-style chair version features signature black and red colors, black vegan leather, and an on-off switch marking on one of the wheels.
The Sega Dreamcast chair is much brighter than the previous two. It features references to the ABXY buttons in the form of wheels, light gray shades, and bright orange elements that are sure to please all fans of the classic console.
The chairs have 14 adjustment points and 5D armrests: width and height adjustment, as well as pad depth and rotation angle. Height and depth adjustable lumbar support (fully removable) is available.
There is seat height and depth adjustment, tilt and its stiffness, as well as the ability to tilt the seat forward for fine-tuning. High-tech mesh was used for the Sonic version, and vegan leather for Genesis and Dreamcast.
The set includes a headrest with two-position adjustment. The optional tall gas lift is designed for people 180 cm (5'11") and taller. It can withstand a load of up to 125 kg (275 lbs). The Sonic the Hedgehog chair costs $569 (41,707 rubles), and the Genesis and Dreamcast chairs cost $629 (46,105 rubles).
