Samson: A Tyndalston Story had a troubled launch. Players complained about various issues – the developers studied the feedback and began releasing patches. After a series of updates with fixes, they introduced the first content update.
With "Content Update #1", Samson: A Tyndalston Story added three difficulty modes: Crook, Hustler, and Enforcer. At the "Crook" level, the penalty for being knocked out is reduced, and more painkillers can be obtained, while at "Enforcer", the player will lose all money upon being knocked out, and opportunities to replay missions are severely limited.
The developers stated that they improved the in-combat camera. It will now dynamically zoom out during large-scale battles, which will help track threats. Work on combat and improving enemy behavior will continue.
Three new quests have also been added to the game – players will be offered to disrupt a deal between gangs, help an honest police officer, and punish gang members who have invaded foreign territory.
