Henry in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II makes noise in photo mode to prevent players from cheating during stealth
The developers understood that players would want to gain an advantage using photo mode. A nasty surprise awaits the cheaters.
The developers have added an unconventional photo mode to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The main character, Henry, will provide his comments, which will be heard not only by the player but also by other characters. Many players immediately guessed that this was how the developers decided to punish cheaters who would use photo mode to assess their surroundings during stealth.
Now there is official confirmation from the creator of KCD II. Creative Director Prokop Jirsa really likes this solution with a talking character in photo mode:
I still think it's a pretty elegant solution to the cheating problem, but we also knew it would create those weird "what the ***?" moments that look funny, you want to share them, and they go down great with our community.
Prokop Jirsa noted that for the same reasons, a phrase about a very hungry Henry was added to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II: "We understood that this was just crazy, but yes, we have such a playful style."
Currently, Warhorse Studios is working on a new game. There are rumors that it is a project based on "The Lord of the Rings" franchise, but there is no full confirmation yet.
