Ghost Ship Publishing and Coffee Stain Publishing have unveiled an overview trailer for Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core. They plan to release their new project in a week.

The developers position their game as a cooperative FPS action game designed for 1-4 users. The main difference from their previous game, Deep Rock Galactic, is its roguelite-style structure.

In Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, players will start each mission with the most basic equipment, and along the way, they will collect random upgrades, gear, and abilities. According to the developers, this provides a wide variety of builds and the opportunity to achieve extremely powerful combinations and synergies:

In Rogue Core, the difficulty also increases sharply as the mission progresses, unlike Deep Rock Galactic, where the difficulty level remains more stable from start to finish of the task.

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is scheduled for release on May 20 in "early access" format. The developers expect the game to remain in this status for 18 to 24 months. They intend to add new content and features.
