Surprise for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Fans - Update with Content and Improvements Released

In May, MachineGames studio returned to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and released "Update 8." It includes not only technical improvements and fixes but also new content.

The developers decided to please franchise fans and added a new costume to Indy's suitcase, available to all players regardless of platform — similar to the one he wore at the Obi-Wan club at the beginning of the film "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom."

They also noted that the CPU load was reduced during game optimization before its release on Nintendo Switch 2 gaming cards. In addition, bugs in the main game and DLC were fixed, for example, a bug that caused adventure book indicators to appear on the screen even if the player had already obtained copies of these books on another level was eliminated.

Path Tracing (PC version):

• Fixed crashes on computers with AMD video cards when path tracing was enabled.
• Matched with Vulkan validation tools and fixed some minor bugs that could occur with future driver updates.
• Fixed a bug where some reflections were too bright when ray-traced reflections were enabled.

Scaling and Frame Generation (PC version):

• Fixed a bug where the brightest areas of the screen appeared overexposed when playing in HDR mode with AMD FSR enabled.
• Fixed a bug where some cutscenes showed ghosting when playing in HDR mode with NVIDIA DLSS enabled.
• Fixed a bug where video memory allocated for AMD FSR was not released when switching to another scaling method.

HDR (all platforms)

• Fixed a bug where photos taken while playing in HDR mode could appear washed out in the journal. This fix does not apply to already taken photos.
• Colors in the opening cutscene now look more natural when playing in HDR mode.
