Girl with a gun and photorealism. Better Than Dead released in early access

Better Than Dead has been released in Steam Early Access. The new shooter relies on photorealistic graphics and a style reminiscent of Bodycam.

The game was developed by a single author, and MicroProse acted as the publisher. The developer emphasizes that he did not try to make a military simulator or a tactical shooter. Instead, players can expect pure arcade action.

The action takes place in Hong Kong, where a girl with a gun begins a path of revenge. The project is first-person and focuses on dynamic gunfights.

So far, player reaction remains "mixed." On Steam, Better Than Dead currently has 65% positive reviews. A playthrough takes about two hours, and only one pistol is available as a weapon.
