The main driver of success was the game Resident Evil Requiem, which sold over 7 million copies. The project's success boosted interest in the entire series and, along with sales of Monster Hunter Stories 3 and Pragmata, allowed Capcom to build future plans with greater confidence.

In its new financial report, the company presented a strategy for “maximizing brand value” and identified key franchises that will become new pillars of growth alongside Street Fighter. Capcom officially confirmed plans for sequels, remakes, and ports for less active series.

Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney, Dragon’s Dogma, Mega Man, and Okami were prioritized. Additional optimism comes from already announced or in-development projects such as Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Mega Man: Dual Override.
