LEGO 2K Drive never became a big hit.

In 2023, LEGO 2K Drive was released on PC via Steam and consoles. The game failed to attract a large audience – at launch, the peak online barely exceeded a thousand players, and subsequent "free weekend" promotions raised the online count to a maximum of 700 players.

In May 2026, a notification appeared on the LEGO 2K Drive page on Steam and other digital services stating that the game would soon be removed from sale:

The product will no longer be available for purchase on 5/19/2026.

LEGO 2K Drive servers will continue to be supported until the end of May 2027.
