In May, Platypus Entertainment studio launched a new promotion on PC in Steam. Players are offered to get acquainted with Misery for free.

This is a survival game — you can play alone or in co-op mode. Events unfold in a world with anomalies and other threats:

You are in a nuclear disaster zone and every day here is a struggle: explore radioactive ruins, build a bunker, craft weapons, and explore a dangerous procedurally generated world with friends. Beware of anomalies, monsters, and armed bandits!

The Misery page on Steam is available here. The free access promotion will last until May 18, 20:00 Moscow time (Monday).

Previously, an update was released for the game with various improvements, including:

  • Third-person view. Players can press "V" to switch between first-person and third-person views.
  • Ability to create worlds for up to 10 players
  • Players will now be able to find or craft special items to store and display weapons and costumes in shelters (mannequins and weapon racks)
  • The behavior of crabs has been changed — according to the developer, now "they are mostly peaceful and only attack during rain or if provoked".
