Some users have already managed to order a Steam Controller, but not everything went smoothly afterwards. A user with the nickname hvhhggggh reported that his package with the gamepad was sent to another country.
He contacted Steam support, and they confirmed that there had been several such cases of erroneous shipments of Steam Controller packages:
We are very sorry that there was a problem with your shipment. The carrier informed us that a small number of packages were mistakenly sent to the UK. They are now actively working to redirect your shipment to the address you provided. We recommend continuing to track the status on the GLS website, as it will have the most up-to-date delivery information.
Then Valve once again showed customer focus, which pleased many gamers — support offered hvhhggggh to choose a game that the company would gift him:
