Recently, many gamers once again remembered the butts of female characters from the team shooter Overwatch. The reason was a collaboration with Fortnite, during which Epic Games added themed content to the game, including skins for several heroines.
The main topic of dispute for some gamers was Tracer's rear end — there were proponents of the opinion that the girl's butt in Overwatch is much larger than the version presented in Fortnite.
While some users suggested comparing screenshots, one participant in the discussion decided to approach the issue as seriously as possible and conducted a full-fledged study. He decided to recount the pixels on Tracer's butt and shared his observations:
Tracer's butt [in Overwatch] is NOT BIGGER than in Fortnite. I ask for your attention: look at these red lines. The length of the line in the first screenshot [from Fortnite] is 106 pixels. While the red line in the second screenshot [from Overwatch] is 117.1 pixels, i.e., it is ten percent longer. Even taking into account the difference in pose and adjusting for the camera position in the game, Tracer's butt is still approximately the same size — both for the Fortnite version and the Overwatch version.
Not everyone was reassured by such "mathematical proof," so some members of the gaming community continue to carefully examine the models of Tracer and other girls in Fortnite and Overwatch.
