Recently, the creator of the game Windswept noticed a negative review from one of the users.

Its author criticized the developer's decision to add built-in cheats to the game, which, when activated, do not prevent the player from earning achievements.

The game's developers responded to the dissatisfied user:

These are called “Assists” [help/accessibility features], and people who need them should be able to get achievements. Bad review, but thanks for your money.

Then he posted a screenshot of this review with his response on social media and stated:

This review knocked my game out of the “Very Positive [reviews]” category, but I don't care — I'll stand my ground, no matter how much time passes. By the way: this player did not get all the achievements.

Users, like Adam Rezich, criticized the Windswept developer's actions:

Dude, posting negative reviews on your social media is tasteless. And your response to that review was even worse. I understand fans will flock, start supporting and all that, but overall it's just a very bad decision — to specifically try to ridicule people who played your game.

Some did not limit themselves to comments on social media and went to express themselves on Steam — as a result, Windswept's recent reviews are now “mixed.”
