Intergalactic actor accidentally revealed possible release dates for Naughty Dog's game
A new hint about the release date of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has appeared online, and it seems we'll have to wait a long time. Actor Kumail Nanjiani let slip that Naughty Dog's new title will only be released "in a couple of years."
The studio announced Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at The Game Awards 2024, but after that, it revealed almost no details about the project. All that is known is that it is a science fiction franchise for PS5, and the cast includes Tati Gabrielle and Kumail Nanjiani.
During one of the podcasts, Nanjiani said that he worked on a new Naughty Dog game that will be released "in a couple of years." This did not become an official date, but fans immediately linked the actor's words specifically to Intergalactic. Especially since Nanjiani plays the character Colin Graves, who was shown in the launch trailer.
The comment aligns with earlier rumors. In late 2025, several sources claimed that Intergalactic would not be released in 2026 and that the release would happen significantly later.
