Recently, an "inside scoop" from a Brazilian journalist went viral within the Grand Theft Auto VI community. According to Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, Rockstar Games may take radical security measures to prevent leaks about the game.
It is assumed that the studio will not send out press copies of Grand Theft Auto VI (keys), and journalists will not be able to review the game in a "home" environment. Instead, the developers will direct reviewers to a closed zone (an event) where they will have the opportunity to test the game.
Long-time fans of the franchise reminded others that this is not Rockstar's first such experience:

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release in November 2026. Pre-orders have not yet opened, but there have recently been "signals" that they may start accepting them this month.
