Forza Horizon 6 Early Access Proves to Be a Goldmine for Microsoft and Playground Games

Playground Games already has something to celebrate - Forza Horizon 6 has become a financial hit even before its full release. The game, available to premium edition buyers with early access, has attracted over 1.2 million players and, according to Insider Gaming estimates, has generated approximately $140 million.

Currently, Forza Horizon 6 is available to owners of the expensive edition, which grants early access several days before the official launch. And even this was enough to attract a huge audience.

On Steam, the premium version was simultaneously launched by over 181 thousand people. Considering the release on the Microsoft Store and Xbox Series X|S, many assumed that this number would be twice as high. However, the statistics even exceeded expectations.

According to in-game data, over 1.2 million people are already playing Forza Horizon 6. Insider Gaming notes that through early access alone, the game could have already earned around $140 million. After the release of the standard edition on Tuesday, this amount will significantly increase.
