The full release of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is expected on May 22. Owners of the premium edition will get early access on May 19.
The first reviews have already started to appear online, and some bloggers are publishing playthroughs of the game. VGC drew attention to the list of developers — it turned out that specialists from Rocksteady, who created the Batman Arkham games and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, participated in the work on the LEGO adaptation of the Dark Knight's adventures. The credits mention at least 24 developers/employees from this studio, as well as Warner Bros. Games Montreal: programmers, artists, and a producer.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight received 84 out of 100 points on Metacritic and 85 points on OpenCritic, with 96% of reviewers recommending the game.
