Lords of the Fallen II to be released on Steam. CI Games terminated agreement with Epic
CI Games prematurely ended its multi-year agreement with Epic Games. This means that Lords of the Fallen 2 will no longer be an Epic Games Store exclusive and will also be released on other PC platforms, including Steam.
The decision is confirmed by the company's latest financial documents. Previously, the agreement with Epic limited the game's distribution, but now the project can enter a wider PC market.
For players, this is important news – the first part of the series sold over 2.5 million copies and fully recouped its budget and marketing, which amounted to about $80 million.
CI Games considers the sequel its main project for 2026. PLAION is responsible for global marketing and physical editions, which indicates large-scale release plans.
According to the company, Lords of the Fallen II may be showcased at major events this year, including Summer Game Fest and shows by Sony and Microsoft.
