Previously, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa stated that the Switch 2 would receive many new games this year. However, if an early showcase was expected, it seems that won't be the case.
Journalist Jeff Grubb, on the Giant Bomb podcast, reported that the next Nintendo presentation might take place in mid-June. According to him, the event will likely coincide with Summer Game Fest, where various publishers showcase their new releases.
Meanwhile, insider NateTheHate made similar claims back in March and promised to reveal additional details soon. For now, he is unsure whether it will be a full-fledged Nintendo Direct or a more modest Partner Showcase event featuring games from third-party developers.
