Players are experimenting with the skill tree in Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred. One enthusiast managed to get so much loot that the game was simply unprepared for it.
A user with the nickname FP published a recording of his loot run – he managed to kill several thousand goblins. This became possible thanks to the mechanic of enemies respawning during the shrine's buff. At first, players didn't understand the potential of this option, but then the respawn "unveiled itself" – with this mechanic, he managed to respawn goblins to get valuable loot.
In total, FP managed to destroy 2401 goblins, but a problem arose. The player said that it "turned out to be too ambitious" – and as a result, he lost all the loot.
Soon after publishing his video, FP noted that Blizzard, apparently, made a fix and "now small creatures no longer respawn with the shrine bonus." He believes that the developers have enough capabilities to "instantly fix such things" when they threaten the game's stability.
FP's video is available at the following link.
Earlier, a loophole was found in Diablo IV's defense mechanic, which significantly increases character survivability in combat. Players continue to experiment with builds to more effectively destroy enemies.
