Hasbro CEO Chris Cox drew attention to the situation with the absence of major space RPGs. According to him, the market has not received truly good games in this setting for a long time. He believes that the industry has left a huge unoccupied niche, and players are waiting for a large-scale space odyssey.

Hasbro plans to fill the gap with Exodus from Archetype Entertainment studio. It was founded by industry veterans: James Ohlen, creator of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, is the director, and Drew Karpyshyn, who worked on the first parts of Mass Effect, is writing the script. One of the key mechanics will be time dilation.

A detailed presentation of Exodus will be shown in early June.
