The new game from the creators of Deep Rock Galactic and SpellRogue has already gathered over 42 thousand concurrent players on Steam. However, the launch was not perfect: currently, only 64% of over 3500 reviews recommend the project.
Players' main complaints are related to balance. Users complain about the reward system, where the team competes for limited resources, which often leads to conflicts between participants.
Another problem is early access. Players note that Rogue Core is still an unfinished alpha version, and a significant portion of the content will appear later.
Technical difficulties also arose at launch. The servers could not withstand the influx of audience, which caused users to experience unstable connections. The developers have already announced that they have strengthened the network infrastructure.
