In May, the developers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 introduced a major update 13.0 “Purgation Update” with new content for the game.
A new operation, Purgation, has been added to the game. According to the story, the “Veridian” squad must regain control of a Mechanicus facility in the swamps of Cadaku.
A new feature, Battle Simulator, is available – players can train in a customizable combat arena. They will be able to fight various enemies and their combinations, as well as test weapons and equipment.
Players now have the ability to change perk sets and weapons simultaneously during a game session. Perk sets will be tied to weapon sets, which must be taken into account when preparing for a mission.
Several heroic items have been added to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – a plasma pistol, a chainsword, and a power axe:
