In recent weeks, players and analysts increasingly speculated that Rockstar Games would postpone Grand Theft Auto VI due to the lack of a full-fledged marketing campaign. But during the publication of its financial report, Take-Two refuted these rumors.
Strauss Zelnick stated:
We believe that fiscal year 2027 will bring us record operating results thanks to the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, which will take place on November 19.
The company forecasts net revenue from pre-orders of $8 to $8.2 billion in fiscal year 2027 — largely thanks to GTA VI.
However, Take-Two is not yet rushing with active promotion of the game. According to IGN, the marketing campaign will start in the summer.
