Just a few years ago, Playground Games was associated only with the Forza Horizon series. Later, Microsoft expanded the studio, hired hundreds of new employees, and opened a second division to develop a major RPG.
This team was entrusted with the new Fable. It seems that the game's development is proceeding without serious problems.
On the studio's LinkedIn page, the developers reminded that after the release of Forza Horizon 6, this is not the end of their plans for 2026. Playground Games also confirmed that it continues to recruit staff before the release of Fable.
But that's not all. As we approach the release of Fable later this year, we continue to seek specialists from various fields to add new talent to the team.
For Microsoft, this could be another major exclusive of the year after the success of Forza Horizon 6.
