Sony didn't stop there. For the first time in several years, the company has once again started inviting the press to State of Play. According to sources, PlayStation wants journalists to cover the presentation in detail and increase attention to the announcements.
Sony used a similar strategy several years ago when promoting major releases, including God of War in a Norse setting.
