The rumor about Ayaneo's new device has been confirmed. During a special stream, Ayaneo CEO Arthur Zhang officially unveiled the Konkr Pocket Block vertical portable console.
This new product will be released in two color options: the first is more oriented towards the iconic Game Boy DMG color schemes, while the second features a pastel purple front panel with light buttons and subtle nostalgic references to 90s and 2000s electronics design.
Both versions have two orange buttons. One is located on the front panel at the bottom – presumably for launching AYASpace, and the other is on the right side above the volume buttons and acts as the power button. There is a USB-C charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a front-facing speaker.
The portable device runs on Android and has no joysticks, so it is likely more suitable for emulating older systems. It features active cooling, and AI in the AYASpace launcher will be used to automatically change CPU and GPU frequencies.
Unfortunately, during the live broadcast, Arthur did not disclose the technical specifications of the Konkr Pocket Block, nor did he announce the price or release date of the console.
