New Pets and Fish Pond Breeding Added to Crimson Desert - Update 1.08.00 Released

Crimson Desert developers announced the release of update 1.08.00, which includes new content and more. The developers have prepared several new pets, including a wyvern hatchling – in future updates, players will be able to raise a wyvern and use it as a full-fledged mode of transportation.

In addition, the update expands hero abilities, and a new graphics option has been added to PC – players can now disable shadows from the Sun and Moon.

• Cliff can now use a musket and shotgun.
• [Damiana/Unka] Skills corresponding to "Crow's Air Strike" have been added.
• Added a function to silence bound criminals.
• Added slots for Tools.
• Wild wyverns can now be temporarily ridden after stunning them.

Ponds have been added to the Wolf Hill and Pailun Barracks locations – a pond can be built by completing a pond construction quest at the corresponding nodes.

Fish from the inventory can be released into the pond; if several individuals of the same species are registered, their population will gradually grow. The breeding rate depends on the fish species. Developers warned that if the number of fish exceeds the pond's capacity, they may die.

Some other changes and new features:

• Added a function that allows instant enhancement using the selected method, skipping the material selection stage.
• Added quests for mass production of paintings and production of elite paintings.
• Wood and stone have been added to rewards for logging and stone mining quests.
• Improved texture quality of some costumes.
• [Keyboard/Mouse] An additional key can now be assigned for all input actions.
• [PC] Ray-traced Sun/Moon Shadows parameter added to Settings – Graphics.
• Reduced GPU load when playing at high resolutions (above 4K).
• Fixed various localization errors and improved text quality for all languages.
