The second patch for Subnautica 2 has been released - performance improved and ramfish behavior adjusted
Additional resource gathering zones have been added to the game.
The developers of the underwater survival game Subnautica 2 have released a small update, "Hotfix #2". Unknown Worlds Entertainment decided to add additional resource gathering zones to the game, as well as fix some bugs and adjust the behavior of the ramfish.
In later stages of the game, players will now find more zones where they can mine troilite, and new silver mining zones have appeared in the starting area.
Ramfish now react significantly less to the light of "tadpoles". Previously, fish could pursue the player all the way to their bases, trying to get to the "tadpoles". The developers also improved game performance on Epic graphics settings.
Some other changes:
- Fixed a bug where the player would sometimes be teleported back to base while exploring the world on a "tadpole"
- Added a notification that telemetry can be disabled at any time through the settings
- Fixed a bug where the player would have an infinite oxygen supply after dying from hunger or thirst while controlling a "tadpole"
- Fixed a crash that could occur when losing connection in multiplayer
- Fixed a random crash that could occur in later stages of the game
- Updated "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Service" - players will need to accept the agreement again when launching the game.
