In May, the full version of Aztecs: The Last Sun by Play2Chill studio was released on Steam. The survival strategy game was launched in "early access" format last September.
In honor of the 1.0 version launch, the developer published an address to players, which is also available in Russian:
Today is a special day for us: Aztecs: The Last Sun has officially reached version 1.0. What started as an idea gradually turned into a whole world, a concept, a demo, and finally, a game that we are incredibly proud of and happy to present to you. This important milestone would not have been possible without your support, feedback, patience, and enthusiasm. From the very first wish list additions, comments, bug reports, screenshots, and discussions, every kind word helped us move forward and improve the game step by step. Seeing players explore our world, share their impressions, and believe in the project means more to us than words can express. Thank you for walking this path with us. Thank you for your trust and support. And most importantly: thank you for playing.
In Aztecs: The Last Sun, players are invited to take on the role of Tlatoani, the divine ruler of Tenochtitlan, to build a city and fight the moon goddess and her generals in the story campaign.
Players will be able to terraform Lake Texcoco, erect divine monuments, and receive divine protection through sacrifices (losing their favor will lead to problems). In addition to the campaign, the game offers a "sandbox" mode – survival without a story.
The trailer for the full version of the game can be watched here.
