In an interview with the Fall Damage channel, Clark said that fans still regularly ask him about the future of the series. The actor initially joked that Red Dead Redemption 3 would be released "tomorrow afternoon," but then admitted that he doesn't know when Rockstar will return to the franchise.
However, Clark is confident that the studio is unlikely to abandon such a successful series. He added that he would immediately agree to return if he received an offer from Rockstar.
Other actors from Red Dead Redemption 2 have previously expressed a similar stance. Rob Wiethoff, the voice of John Marston, and Alex McKenna, who played Sadie Adler, also said they were ready to return to their characters. McKenna even stated that she would like to see Sadie as the main protagonist of a new installment.
Currently, Rockstar's main priority remains Grand Theft Auto VI. But the success of Red Dead Redemption 2, with sales exceeding 85 million copies, leaves fans with little doubt that a continuation of the series will appear sooner or later.
